Cerebral palsy can develop in people at every age and although it is not considered a terminal disease it is understood that the Cerebral palsy affects affected people’s lifespan. If a person suffering from Cerebral palsy is taken care of, takes medication and undergoes appropriate therapy it should not be too difficult for such a person to lead a relatively normal adult life. Therefore, babies with diagnosed Cerebral palsy not only need to undergo a therapy, but they also should be educated so that they can take care of themselves in their adult lives. The most recent research and prognosis indicate that infants with mild Cerebral palsy have near-normal life-spans, and more than ninety percent of those with more severe Cerebral palsy survive into adulthood.
