Differentiation between mild Cerebral palsy and severe Cerebral palsy is made on the basis of the number of observable Cerebral palsy symptoms. Among the neurologically based symptoms there are:

  • Abnormal sensation

  • Hearing loss

  • Learning disabilities or mental retardation

  • Seizures

  • Behavioral disorders

  • Visual impairment

  • Abnormal perception

  • Speech impairment


Additionally, many children and infants suffering from Cerebral palsy have growth impairment.
